This story is really growing on me. It's probably hard getting people to read OC stories, but this one feels like a story of actual ninjas, not self-inserts. Well, I'm still not sure if I like Miyako or not, but Ryuu's got a fangirl in me... Loved him in the first and surprise surprise, the second made me fall completely. You write ninja dynamics so well, I can see and even taste their world when I read.

This... this story is AMAZING. .

The depth of your characters, the exquisite DETAIL in their actions and thoughts, all wonderful. The sharpness of the mission and the softness of the eluded to sex (it was nice NOT to read a smutty interlude :D) was all written with grace.

This is the first Naruto fic I have read in years and I find that I missed the world terribly, even if I have little attachment to the canon characters anymore. In fact, I think that's one reason why I like this so much. Your original characters are vivid and you handling of the few canon characters you have brought in has been nice and subtle. They're side characters in this show and their inclusion makes your story that much richer instead of cheapening your OC's.

I really want to read more of this story. O.O I want to see Miyako and Ryuu share their stories and pain. More missions, more details and wonderful characterization...

Please continue this! :D You've certainly made me a fan!

This is moving. I can just almost understand the horrors and heartache they go through, made more poignant by the happiness of the Hatakes (and even then, knowing how Kakashi's life will pan out, it really is bitter-sweet at best).

Oh wow, this was a fantastic read. Your prose is very fluid and lyrical and both the assassination and bar scenes are written exquisitely. I really like how you delve into the darker and grittier side of ninja-work we don't see canonically and with such well-written original characters!

Kudos!

oh, this is good. You really come to feel for all of them, the lack of choice they have. I love her self-awareness. Will there be more?

You are back! Ahh! i'd just like to say that i love love love your work. I've been to fallen leaves because of you and I lOVE Ryouma. He is my favorite character there, except perhaps genma or is amazing! this story about his mom is awesome. i love the way you write, the feeling you put into your words. if you ever write anything not on fanfiction, i hope i read it. i'm only on the story with Ryouma and Kakashi in the hospital right now in fallen leaves, after kakashi wakes from his coma but before Ryouma goes missing because i started reading late, but i can't wait to see what happens. Fallen leaves has made me laugh and cry and dance around because of its exquisite writing. i know you are probably very busy, but if you ever want to check out my writing on under LuteLyre, and maybe give me some criticism, you would make me so happy. i have only 13 stories so far, but more in the making! Thankyou so very much for all of your writing, you inspire me to write more! Can't wait to hear more from fallen leaves!

Very interesting! I loved it. I liked that it was a simple story, but there was so much emotion and description added that I got really sucked into it. You were spot on with the characters. You kept them the same, which is good, since so many writers can really struggle with that. Oh, and another thing, I loved that you didn't over dramatize everything. Me, being a person who hates things like soap operas and stuff like that(Which I'm not bad mouthing people who do, I just don't like 'em)

made me so appreciate your style for this story. God Bless and once again great job!
