Reviews for mutual apathy, polar affections

This. Is. Just. So. Amazing.

:O

I don't think I've ever read a story for this pairing before, though I may be wrong. I've never really thought about them either, but these really showed me that they can make a good couple.

I really really REALLY adored the first part! Especially when Louis was able to make Scorpius blush a bit - it was very funny. I love the way you write them both. Louis is cute, but still very sure of himself and I love it.

I also love how blunt Louis tends to be (like at the Potter/Weasley gathering). It reminds me a lot of his mother.

WHEN THEY KISSED! Asdfghjkl, I just loved that part so much. The whole description of the scene was perfect and so yummy and so cute. I pretty much died, lol.

:')

The way you ended it was perfect. I thought it was a nice idea how Louis was so caught up in the thought of Scorpius that he didn't realize what Scor was doing to his relatives. I wasn't sure what was going to happen after that, but I lovedlovedloved that Louis still wanted to be with him. It was a perfect ending.

"What was he doing? Really? Trying to excuse himself in front of himself? Oh, Merlin, he had to be really tired."

I thought that part was so funny! It made me laugh a bit out loud, actually. _

Superb work as usual!

:D

My first time reading Louis/Scorpius, and I'm glad it was you. You turned a pairing that I had never really considered and made it realistic, and it was very well-written.

The first scene is perfect - I adore how Louis cannot stand being bested by a boy two years younger - "See ya, kiddo," And the way it ended with Louis questioning himself why Scorpius had gotten that sort of reaction from him just sets up the rest of this wonderfully.

But the last bit took the cake. Louis is too wrapped up with his infatuations to noticed the rest of the family and how Scorpius has hurt them, and it makes him guilty, but not guilty enough to stay away from Scorpius. It's a rather brilliant characterization of Louis, and it was consistent throughout the whole story.

There was only one spot in the beginning where I was slightly confused. I'm thinking that both Louis and Scorpius are Gryffindors, but the line about Scorpius being as much Slytherin as Louis was a Hufflepuff. I got that Louis wasn't a Hufflepuff, but... I just thought that could've been a teensy bit clearer.

And again with Louis at the end - Scorpius took a bit of his heart, but he's too caught up in the moment (like the way he was when he didn't notice his cousins) to care, he doesn't care at all. Absolutely beautiful, great work :D
