So fantastic! I read this a while ago and had to come back and read it again. The dialouge was really natural; I think that's what impressed me most. It's also cute and funny... good job.

One of the many mysteries of the Adventures of Tintin, along with where he learned to drive every vehicle known to man and why he doesn't actually write any articles. I loved this one-shot, his interactions with Haddock are superb, and spot on, I might add. I guess we'll never know where his name came from...but I still really want to know! XD

This was highly amusing. I loved Captain Haddock, though I still don't know about Tintin's name. It has puzzled me as well, along with questions like how old is Tintin? who were his parents? how does he know the Thom(p)sons? Great work!

If Haddock doesn't know, I doubt we'd ever know the truth either.

*Snort* Herge's most charming trait, to me, was little moments of the seemingly mundane. Those little moments are why the Tintin cast are not characters to me, but people. Short stories like this fit perfectly in the mythos! At the end, we still have no clue about how Tintin DOES have that peculiar name, and poor Haddock is left in a pickle. Fantastic job!

Oh my gosh, I love this! I also loved the Tintin fanfic you wrote called "Blue Shirt". You really know how to make the characters come to life. So funny... I've always wanted to know how Tintin got his name... perhaps we'll never know. Ha ha! ;)

Hmmm I wonder what Tintin's actual name is since if this is a pen name no one's ever called him by his actual name. I laughed while reading this. Poor Captain! At least we aren't the only confused ones lol.
