The issue that Kate is having is that she's fighting her feelings for Rick and doesn't know what to do. That was why after her talk with Rick that she wanted things to stay the same.

I enjoyed their talk on the roof, away from everyone in the loft and Rick's idea to date for a week as a test run. It was nice how you had both of them come to an agreement with some ground rules.

The ending was great with Lanie and Javier having found them and wondered where they had gotten to.

I for one want to see this continue just to see how you have their week of dating go.

And I can't wait to read ANY continuation... The more REAL the better.. But sexier sounds pretty dang good too... Simply because you are writing them extremely believably, well, and realistically.. So yes... Change the rating to M, and just go with it! Absolutely..

You have completely captured their voices in this. Their characterization and dialog are dead-on. Brilliantly written, and I can't wait for their week!

As for whether or not to write quicker chapters - take your time. I've found that rushing sometimes makes me lose the voice of the characters. So take however long it takes to make you happy with what you've written. And again, bravo.

I went back and re read the first chapter again then right onto this one. It's even better reading it now that it was before. I just love this. You so have to continue.

I can just imagine all the fun they're going to have with this thing.

I liked how you had Kate what to include Rick while spending the holiday with her dad when he's all alone. Didn't take him long to agree.

Their case was interesting and I enjoyed how you had it unfold. It was pretty good on how it was solved and Rick played a nice part in finding the doorman. Too bad Kate got hurt in the process but that worked to Rick's advantage since she would be spending the night at the loft.

My favourite part was near the end when they finally shared a kiss that didn't have anything to do with working a case. The way you had it, they appeared to want it to be more but with Kate's concussion they couldn't.

I am looking forward to how you bring this story to an end.
