Oh bravo! Even better than your first one! Especially when you switch from "parumpum pum pum" to "Yummy yum yum" - I just howled at that point! I'd been thinking through the first two stanzas that it had to be Schultz; stanza three confirmed it beautifully! The slant rhymes for the third and fourth lines of stanzas 2-4 work well, and "Fill your tum" and "Licking my thumb" were just brilliant concluding lines.

A very humorous story- but I see that even the simple gift of strudel comes at a price. ;)

Oh, this is one of my favourite Christmas songs and I think you've picked a wonderful subject to write new lyrics for. How very sweet at the end. So fitting, that yummy yum yum. Wonderful voice and rhyme, like many have already said. Really enjoyed this one.

This is kinda scary, because I can just picture this! LeBeau with plate of strudel in hand, Schultz licking his thumb...yummy yum yum! Love it.

Now that I'm done falling over laughing, I can coherently say how much I loved this little song parody. The words flow perfectly and are definitely in Schultz's "voice" (that "My feet are killing me" line sealed it).

And the whole thing is absolutely priceless.

Oh, bother it - that one's an earworm, I'll have it going round my brain for the next three days! But it's worth it - very well done indeed. Again, metre and scan are spot on, but one doesn't notice on the first read, as one's laughing too hard.

Sweet, adorable and hilarious :o) You make Schultz's inner voice translate quite well into poetry, and the last lines are great. At least the prisoners didn't escape, that's something - they just brought a *plane* into camp :D

Cute. Said the story aloud to get the right effect. Loved the tummy tummy tum tum part. So perfect. And calling it apfelstrudel instead of apple strudel fits Hans Schultz.

Funny! Great take off on "Drummer Boy"-Schultz will always see nothing for LeBeau's strudel! I admire all of you who can come up with such wonderful fractured Christmas carols.
