The ending. Seriously. It just catches everything.

I LOVE THIS. i love that you had her tell him to go away. like that was probably my favorite part because i mean it's hard to resist tate (especially soaking wet in a bathtub where he saved your life) but she can't forgive him yet! beautiful, wonderful, perfect.

Ahhh ohh my gosh. That was AMAZING. It was so perfect. And the ending? Heartbreaking major. And a cliff hanger.

Awww thanks for the shout out! I loved this. Sex in the tub was mad hot and I'm sad but glad that she pushed him away again. I'm trying to reconcile my own feelings as to whether there is any realistic hope for them. I have a hint of an idea but I can't put it together yet. Fics like this though keep my muse on edge and I'm working her hard. Can't wait for more.

I really love all of your Violate stories! You seem to truly get them as a couple and as individual characters. Your portrayals of them are spot on always! This was heartbreaking but intense. I could see all of it happening with them! I want them together but I know realistically, it would take Violet a lot more than one year to move past it if ever. She might just go through eternity never truly getting over what Tate has done. Please write more Violate fics!

Ugh that ending killed me! Lol. Made me tear up a little bit but a beutiful story!

Gah, this is just lovely! There are so many phrases I wanted to highlight and savor; it really is written beautifully. (I think my favorite is "No more hand-holds or 'I Love You's or books about birds" and the ensuing lines, so pretty but sad!)

I do think Violet would/should feel pretty weird around her mom, and I love your depiction of her conflicting feelings and lingering bitterness. The smut and not-happy ending are perfect - simple and very effective. I'm not exactly looking forward to Wednesday night - more like anticipating it with wariness - but at least there will still be fics like this to console heart-sore Violate fans.
