What a beautifully written, sad story. I love how you interwove this legend of a fairy king with the more familiar story of Tom's diary, the dreamlike quality of the writing, and the ambiguity that filled all of the characters in the story. I hope that, despite your semi-retirement from fan fiction, that you continue to write stories, because I would absolutely love to read them.

I'm glad and grateful that you are working on new fanfics again. You've been one of my favorite writers here, and I was dismayed when some incendiary comments resulted in your voluntary break from writing fanfics. As an artist, I hope my works can have the emotional strength like yours to incite that level of passions. It indicates that you are probably doing something right.

Back to Undrentide, it is well structured and developed just as your other writings. There's enough depth in your narrative so much so that I can't help but imagine more adventures beckon: Harry and Draco race against time and each other in a fraught joint effort to resuscitate Astoria... Luna's desperate attempts to salvage her friendship with Harry after he realizes her betrayal... The almost corporeal TMR's ambition leads him down a path to conflict with LV and the Order... Somewhere, somehow, real fairies and ancient magics also make an appearance... I can go on and on. ;)

No...this ending to such a beautiful story! I am so wowed by this piece. I absolutely love every twist and turn...and I must say, you learn something new every day! Or night, as the case is for me...

So, Astoria Greengrass. Huh. Interesting character. I like her. You did a fantastic job with her and the plots and the alternating viewpoints. Fantastic story, really...though I wished for a happy ending, if only slightly. I suppose that'll never happen :(

Somehow it unfinised. It feels like here sould be sequel about Lord Potter and his 10 years of searching his queen))

To put it simply this story was exquisite. Although I thought the song 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' would suit the atmosphere towards the ending, particularly within regards to the slight Tom/Astoria vibe going on as well.

I really enjoy your style of writing and was glad to see a new story up. I was sad to see that this story didn't have a happy ending but every other story in the Enchantment Series does so I really can't complain.

Your portrayal of Luna was interesting. She usually isn't shown to be as selfish but realistically this exactly how a 15 year who probably react. No one has really given her the opportunity to do otherwise with their treatment of her eccentricities.

I'm going to have to read this a few more times to just let it sink in, but it was a brilliant read! I clung to hope until the end, but I'm not as distraught as I probably should be. I grew up on stories about fairies and their kidnappings, and all of those unhappy endings, and I guess I just picked up on that vibe with this. So I suppose a part of me knew from the start this wasn't going to end with smiles.

I absolutely loved all of the perspectives, and that factors in the most on why this is probably my favorite story of yours so far. Like I said, I'm going to read it again in case I missed anything, but was that "Lord Potter" business leading up to anything? Or was it just showing Harry's eventual transition into old tradition (as Astoria held dear)?

Just curious, you don't have to answer, but were the lyrics to this song your main inspiration for this?
