I had originally passed over this little ficlet because of how gruesome it sounded, however, I found myself compelled to read it-hoping for more ingenious writing from my favorite author. Well, I wasn't disappointed. I would rank this lower than most of the other ficlets of yours I've read but I do like the exploration into darker themes. I guess I'm more for heart-wrenching emotion, rather than literal heart-wrenching and void emotions. Very good none-the-less!

After being alerted that you had a fic that I had neglected to read and running to discover how I had passed over it - Damn, was that dark! And amazingly good. Beautifully twisted, spine-chilling and stunning. I am in awe! I love the violence of the whole thing, the anguish. Beautiful, heartbreaking, passionate mix of hate and love and that was just absolutely overwhelmingly powerful. But amazing. I know I'll have to read it several times over to fully get the impact, but I am stunned already at the power of this. I adore the style, especially the "Hey Mr. Harry Potter I hate you" part, which was wonderful. And the second person point of view, and the entire idea, and how Draco wants to lick his blood when washing it from his hands - you, most simply, are a genius. I must say, this considerably darker fic must be my favorite of yours, even surpassing His Sleepless Nights. I can't even describe the sheer wonder I have for this work. Let me just say, I adored your work before and thoroughly enjoyed it, but this... Wow. And the end was heartbreaking enough to be stinging salve for the horror. Raw. It was raw and beautiful and ultimately so darkly uplfting. I can't say enough. (Actually, I've probably said far to much.) Simply, that was a gem of a fic, and I loved it.

Huh. Don't know what to say. It's so strangely sad and emotional. Just in state of stupidity. The incompleteness is its completeness. Great job, though.
