love it I want to see a luke thinking of the jess and Rory situration maybe a comparise to the diner boys love to the gilmore girls.

I am a RL fan all the way. You did make some good points minus Jess's is Rory's Luke and the one. I don't think he was the one he was her bad boy phase, and even though I like Lorelai/Christopher I do notice the most similaritites between Chris and Jess who in canon did not get the girl. Both had music in common, both boys ran to mature, and lastly don't know each other as adults.

I did like though because I am being negative the point Lorelai made on how she saw Chris in all of Rory's boyfriend that's true. Also how Rory needs a guy to excite that is one of my main points, and whey I believe Rory is a guy for her. It's intresting how different ships can see similiar things.

I don't like to compare Lorelai and Rory's realationship, and I dislike he is Rory's Luke because Luke is not very girls dream guy. However, you made some really good points.

I like this a lot! I've seen the comparisons of Lorelai and Rory's boyfriends but I felt this one was very accurate. As a die-hard lit shipper I always want to compare Jess and Luke but am haunted by the Jess Chris comparison as well... I think you addressed that concern very well! Good job!

Shame, Dean isn't dumb. You make him sound like runner up for the position of village idiot. Other than that, I truly enjoyed the different comparisons. I know they didn't date, so it wouldn't technically count, but who would you compare Marty with?

THAT. Right there. That is why, despite how much I love Marty (and I do, believe me), it always comes back to Jess in the end. He's Luke, but with a touch of wanderlust and a head full of dreams even he doesn't really believe in most of the time.

And you make such a good point here that, all things considered... Jess should have been nothing. He wasn't the first of anything, he wasn't exactly a long-term relationship all things considered (he didn't even manage to hold down a Gilmore Girl as long as Digger Stiles!), but somehow he still managed to be relevant- almost critically so- after years of being incommunicado. The fact that he stayed lodged there all that time... that says something huge.

I love this little blend of Java and Lit you've got going on here... there was something so bittersweet and beautiful about it (possibly just because I'm in an angsty place with regards to Luke- and by extension Lorelai- right now), and whatever you may say I think this piece came off really nicely!

This was absolutely wonderful! I've never read anything else where they compared ALL of Lorelai's and Rory's significant others. All of the comparisons you had, make so much sense and it was just soo beautifully written!
