| Reviews for: Giant Sized Xmen Supreme Issue 0: Revelation X |
EroSlackerMicha 5/17/12 . chapter 1sorry I don't review enough, but your Xmen Supreme series does rock. its a solid story and you keep on target.
so just keep doing what your doing and know that all reader might not leave a review, but that doesn't mean this series is bad. its far from it. you and Agent G are two authors of X-Men fics that I keep an eye out for and you should be proud of your series. I'd vote for it.
anyway, keep it up.

MarvelWriter03 1/22/12 . chapter 1Two days and 30,000 words later and the Giant Sized issue is complete! Once again, MarvelMaster, I give you credit for a well-rounded story filled with plenty of humor, action, and good writing. Not only that, but having a side-issue such as this makes X-Men Supreme feel just that much more of an actual comic book. It reminds me of Ultimate Spider-Man when they had their giant sized specials and annuals that came out.
It was very nice to get a glimpse of what it was like when the X-Men were known as heroes, and also you've shown how much they've changed in character somewhat. If you compare them from Issue 0 to Issue 45, there is definite growth! That's good. I'm glad you didn't use Magneto as the main villain as well but really the man behind the scenes, while Juggernaut was the spotlight of disaster. I also loved that you threw in the famous quote "I'm the Juggernaut, Bitch!"
Finally, the climax shows the X-Men reveal themselves for who they really are. I loved what you did with Angel in the end. Wanting to be there with his friends, mentor and teacher (and also a little spite for his father) but the professor pushing him back. Looking at it the way I did, it was a almost a defining moment, and I'm thinking it could be a very big storyline in the future if he was ever outed.
As usual, you deliver on an excellent story that is nothing short of just plain fun to read. I don't know if you have known, but I hate reading, yet you've managed to keep my attention through several issues, and have kept me excited with future hints of issues as well. I hope to see more of something like this in the future (maybe not as big...ha!) Keep up the good work! |
JDP95 1/12/12 . chapter 1Awesome one shot! Amazing plot, and it was executed very well! Only thing was I did find some spelling mistakes, but they were few and far apart. Overall great job! I'm excited to read Volume 3! I can really tell you're taking this someplace, and I'm excited to see where it leads. Keep up the great work! |
spirit117 1/6/12 . chapter 1I finally had time to read this, and I'm glad I did. Now I can read volume 3.
Keep up the great work. |
The Writer with No Name 1/1/12 . chapter 1Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, my friend! I see you've rolled out a deluxe version of your regular uploads for us readers, which I'm sure all will agree is deeply appreciated; posting 20,000 words in one sitting is no picnic (trust me on that one lol)! I might not have chosen to open with Hank singing; the lyrics were appropriate, but I can't vouch for his vocals. lol On a more serious note, I see that the X-Men's policy of anonymity seems to be working; after the X-Men's save, people actually seem to be supportive of mutants...but I suppose that might be a bit premature. Leave it to Magneto to dig up the worst possible skeleton in Charles' closet at the worst possible time; when it comes to messing everything up and kicking things over, you can't do much better than Juggernaut. Interesting take on his backstory, by the way; you've refreshed his origins, while retaining the baseless hatred of Charles that drives him...and you've also made him the same living wrecking-ball he is in the comics. The X-Men really had a tough time until they figured out his weak-spot. Still, it may not have mattered; Cain actually played this one smarter by attacking Charles' dream. It really left the X-Men no choice but to go public, didn't it? Something tells me that THAT was what Magneto was playing at, all along; the whole thing was probably Erik's way of forcing Charles' hand, though for what reasons, we'll just have to wait and see. As always, this was another excellent addition to Supreme, my friend; a most awesome origin-story! I eagerly await Part Three! Later! |
X-Storm 1/1/12 . chapter 1I really, really enjoyed reading this giant sized X-Men Supreme special! It was great to see how the original five X-Men started off with everything:) I was looking forward to reading this ever since you mentioned it:) I knew it would be excellent! I wish that I could have written a longer review, however, there's an unfortunate event that held me back a bit. Nothing horrible though. Anyway, all that matters is that I loved this and that I did leave a review! I'm sure that you appreciate this even if it is much smaller than my usaul novel sized reviews...lol! Anyhow, I can't wait to see what you'll have in store for your next installment of X-Men Supreme! Well, for now, take care and best wishes:) Again, sorry for how short this is. |
Radio Driver 12/29/11 . chapter 1Good goin, Marv. Keep on keepin on. |
Son of Whitebeard 12/26/11 . chapter 1Nice to see you bridging the gap |
Kopaka78 12/23/11 . chapter 1Well, I didn't expect you to create a one-shot which turned out to be a prequel to your X-Men: Supreme series. Excellent work my friend. This story gives me all the more reason to look forward to your third issue of X-Men: Supreme.
Take care, and thanks for your support on the reborn "Ghost Factor". |
anon 12/23/11 . chapter 1 I really like saying Mystique doesn't believe in Mutant supremacy but will go along with it for her own ends, she does love Rogue and Kurt and wants what's best for them even if she is sometimes wrong about what that is, she is a wonderful operative but she does seem to choose the wrong causes although that may be just a willingness to go along with them to get her own desires
Again it's ridiculous most mutants have lame powers and simply can't be a threat, though for the living breathing weapons of mass destructions who choose to use their powers for felony and fruad should be punished like any criminal and it's not unreasonable to have cautionary measures for those on the dark side who have powers and tech and magic above and beyond most of humanity and that's not just mutants |
Harry2 12/23/11 . chapter 1Well, this issue was a pleasant surprise! A dip into the EARLY days of the X-Men, with a variation on the first battle with Cain Marko AKA The Juggernaught. It shows why Warren, in this universe, still wears a mask, and how the S-Men became known to the world. Now, I look forward to Volume 3, and look forward to what you have planned next. Until then, keep up the good work, and may this time of the year bring you much happiness and joy. |
X00001 12/23/11 . chapter 1Nice story there i liked the way they defeated Juggernaut it was really interesting to read. I like the idea of Xavier been Juggernauts Uncle that was a good idea instead of been his half brother. I hope you have a great christmas and look forward to reading your story's again in 2012 keep up the good work. |
KaliAnn 12/23/11 . chapter 1Well that was a classic prequel if I ever read one. I find it fascinating how well you handle mixing reality with fantasy. I feel the sorrow for what had to be a very difficult decision for the X-men. I really find it amazing the lengths people will go for their goals, but in the end everything has a way of working out for the better. |
