good writing, but except for higland high refs early in story, generic love story. could even be hetero. if you left the names out, there's no reason to think this is a daria story.

Beautifully written. I always did think Daria and Jane made the best couple. And I only wished that MTV would of had the balls to make them a couple in the series. It would ended rather well that way, don't you think? After the summer with Allison I think that Jane was almost ready to come out of the closet, and Daria, well, she broke up with Tom, and I'm sure they could found some way... anyway, I really enjoyed your fic, and I hope you write more Daria/Jane fanfiction.

Slipping from letters to a third person perspective just makes this fic more enjoyable. Plus I like Jane and Daria pairings. Not enough f/f, shoujo-ai (to use an anime expression) or Yuri (another anime term) out there. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful sweet, and sensual. The emotions of both Daria and Jane in this situation were captured beautifully, and in character. Some people say this can't happen, and that, too, is addressed. The only detraction is the spelling. Since it is supposed to be an e-mail from Daria, we have to accept a) that she's a bad speller, and b) that she wouldn't use spellcheck. Both notions are ludicrise.

This is quite well written, but I dislike the subject matter. It is well established that neither Daria nor Jane is a lesbian. To write them as such is to write them severely out of character. I'd like to see you write some non-slash Daria fiction.

I liked the one you released before this, when the relationship was already established, but I don't think this added anything to it. Over explanation is one of the great pitfalls of fanfiction.

I'm not saying that it wasn't well written, but just... what was the point?
