Ha, funny you mention the Dauphine's chamber, cos I'm reading a book about the revolution at the moment. Yes I think it would be a charming place, but from the impression I got (since I've never been to Versailles), the palace would be more filled with gold, scarlet warm colours. From the picture that Fleur described i imagined it to be more of a blue colour scheme and colder colours. Maybe the ice sculptures had something to do with it :D

I particularly liked the owl's thoughts, Minerva's 'Suitor Timetable' with "got you" written over the page, and Albus goat-trousers - they all made me smile a lot.

Albus denying his feelings and secretly hoping that Minerva remains 'his' was beautiful...I really wanted to see him give in, and confess to her! Could tell me where I can find some more of your stories - perhaps one with a 'happy' ending?

Letter writing is such a lost art! Your character's letters were wonderful. Though I'd not thought of M/A as a pairing - it certainly seems plausible.

This was a quick, delightful read.
