I await patiently for the next update. But recently, I can't get the idea of "Lara Croft" with your Lara here. Sorry, but the names are similar. And the 1st chapter where she had to go through traps, was close to it as well. But it makes me wonder if there's a hint of the game "Amnesia: Dark Descent" here.

I'd just advise you to watch out for the verb tense you're using - sometimes in the middle of the paragraph you start using the present when it should be the past - but it's super kindly meant.
