That's a lovely little scene. It's just like Frank to watch the film although he knows it'll bring back unwanted memories. Pity that Daniel's prophecy only came true for himself and not for Frank.

Poor Frank - even when it's something good, it still doesn't turn out completely right for him. It was good to see that at least he had Daniel and Laurence sticking up for him from an early age. I think you catch the bitter-sweet aspects of Frank's life so well.

How did you pull out such emotion in so few words? I would have written 10,000 words and not touched on the heart of the matter.

I'm longing to put my arms around Frank now, and it's your fault. If you had been controlling things when he was growing up, I feel sure you could have written him out of some of his problems. Now you've got to provide him some comfort in the future. So get busy. Please.

And know that I loved the story.
