Pretty awesome, I love how they go to Satis High, how Pip and Herbert got in a fight when they were little. It's nice that you added your own touches. It made me smile! :D

You brought it up to date very well and introduced a few touches of your own along the way. 'The five year old boy that had wet his pants in her sandpit -twice' the 'Scruffy Geeky Midget' and ' You can't date date someone like Clara and still have the connections with the popular people' were all masterly. You make the first person sound every inch the boy of today. I think I prefer a period setting but I could read yours and enjoy it plus it made me wonder, 'how near to the real Pip this may be', We see Pip without the mid twentieth century trappings of a car, school sport etc but if we could superimpose the same boy onto a modern canvas would he develop this way. I think maybe he would.. I liked your work.
