Interesting concept. I like it, but it has a flaw in the tense. Some sentences, Quote walks, others Quote walked. Try to be more consitent, and keep from writing sentence fragments. Otherwise very good. I'd love seeing more. Let's meet Kanpachi and the fish already! :D
