Whew. Glad that went well. As well as can be expected I guess, but I thought it was very Charlie, the way he handled it. And like I said, I think it's a good thing he knows. In the books, I had actually hoped to see him know more. He can handle it :)

I don't think you're abusing canon at all! I love this twist in just coming out and telling Charlie! And you write all them so well, that it seems completely believable to me. I could see it happening this way.

Oh man! I completely trust Alice that Bella will be ok...but this still has me on the edge of my seat! And I'm anxious for Charlie about getting his answers! lol

I haven't read a "Charlie puts two and two together" like this before and I'm excited :)

What a lovely story. I always thought that the Charlie of the first book, twilight, would have figured things out and would have wanted to know. His personality changed in the last two books, but the way he was in the beginning, he was smart and no nonsense. He'd have wanted to know and would have been able to take it. Love this story.

Ha! At least Charlie learned something from all her accidents! He had called her IMMEDIATELY when Bella met Tyler's truck. At least now he waits until he has definite news and information.

A lovely story. I always thought that a parent would want eternity for his child, if it were possible.
