I really like this story. It has everything a good adventure needs to be wonderfully compelling.

"Scout's honor" love, that line! What a great ending, (although I would like to give Welsh a good, and hard kick to his "baby maker" with a 6 inch stiletto heel for injuring poor Olivia) it makes me sad to think that maybe Riley will feel guilty that his not-so-old grandmother is going to be depending on a cane to walk like 20 or so years have passed. But I trust Mcgee when he says that Riley will grow up to be like him and grow out of fear of messing up, well another good fic, Ms. Oxymoronic! * Applause*

"That evening found Tim and Olivia sharing a hospital room. Both were doing fine, despite their wounds. Tim had suffered a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. He'd be able to leave soon, but he wouldn't be doing field work for a while. Olivia's wound had been slightly more severe. The bullet had almost hit her lung and had done a bit of internal damage to her right side. She'd survive and be released within time, but she would most likely require a cane to walk for the rest of her life. Riley, exhausted from the events of two long day, was asleep beside his grandmother, his thumb gently in his mouth. She kept an arm around him, gently brushing his hair from his forehead as he slept. The nurse had given Olivia a sour look when she'd been in to kick the team out, but Olivia wasn't about to budge. She would have her grandson beside her no matter what some nurse had to say." - AW!

"Despite his recent thoughts of leaving the scouts, this ordeal had given him a new sense of love for what he did with his troop and the realization that sometimes he really could make a difference in these boys' lives. "You promise?" Tim smiled and feebly lifted three fingers. "Scout's honor." - AW!

A little side note Boy scouts honor is two fingers my brother was cub to eagle scout so kindergarten to 18 years old. Girl scouts honor is three fingers. I was a Girl scout daisy to cadet. kindergarten to ninth grade.

Aaw, recklessness and bravery all in a moment of danger you gotta love those. It's obvious Riley committed that act of courage because he wanted himself to stand up to his fears and do a good deed (for once, in his eyes) and that makes him all the more lovable! Glad, that devil Welsh was overcome and taken into custody. :D

Jimmy was bitten by the *Shudder* black widow 2x O_O holy, moly, raviolie! I hate spiders with a passion those creepy crawlies just give me, well the CREEPS, and one sting from that deadly creature will have you unconscious within 30 minutes and dead within 24 hours! Just another reason to wet my pants, but enough about that, great chapter!
