What's project "Wideawake"? Either I forgot or I just don't know...

This is my all time favorite X-Men fanfiction. Without a doubt this is the best Nightcrawler story that is currently on the site. It has character development, fight scenes, a good romance between Kurt and Amanda, my own favorite pairing in the X-men universe, and a new take on Kurt's early life. I like the father and son relationship between Azazel and Kurt. I really like how you develop the characters, and have them grow through their challenges. I have long wanted to read a fanfiction in which Kurt was raised by his mother, and while this is not that story, it is the most satisfying X-men story I have read. I congratulate you in writing this story. Be sure that it holds a high place in my favorite list. As far as fight scenes go, I think you did a better job than about 90% of the writers on this site. I particularly liked the scene where Kurt escapes from Stryker. I think that was very well written, definately got my adrenaline pumping. I hope that you write more stories in which Kurt and Amanda are featured prominately. And while I have read this story only after it has been completed, I applaud your quick and timely updates. I look forward to more X-men stories from you.

OH YEAH! I knew it was an "all-seeing-eye" of sorts, though not which. I have very limited access to any marvel comic of any type, and by limited I mean dat I occasionaly spot one on the store but it's just when I had absolutely no money to buy it...

And I also knoew Margali meant Strange! Though it was waaaay too obvious, so it's not much of an achievement...

Funny she's just learnin to drive. Apparently Romani Gypsies learn to do it at 7 years old, NO FRIGGIN KIDDING! Oh well, guess there must b exceptions.

This was an amazing story! I loved every chapter. Thank you so much for writing it, and of course, for the shout out. You captured Azazel & Kurt's personalities so well in this interpretation of "what if." I enjoyed the reaction of Azazel to Erik's children, and how Erik served as a foil for what Azazel & Mystique could have done to Kurt. The last chapter was really sweet and a great comparison for Azazel raising Kurt vs. Kurt raising his child. Bravo!

As always the way you protray the relationships between characters are amazing. I've enjoyed seeing Azazel get a chance to be a father and excel at the challenge.

Thanks for the shout out! I LOVED this story from start to finish. It is a view of family and the redemption that comes from unconditional love... getting and giving. Sometimes when we write ff we forget that the realities of life are just as important as the fantasies of super powers and action. This is a lovely base to work with and Kurt and Amanda were lucky to have Azazel as the root to their family tree.

Ok, my final thoughts on this stroy.

I love how you did Azazel's and Kurt's life together, I also liked how you were able to pace Kurt's development to the point where it was believeable. the development of Kurt and Amanda's relationship was also very well done. The one thing I thought could use improvement? (prepares for the rotten food throwing) the seperation period of kurt and amanda. It had nothing to do with my impatiance, I actually thought it lagged a bit. On the other hand that aspect of it reminded me of a comic book. Lastly, i love your dialoge. It doesn't feeling rushed or forced(unless it needs to) and it always sounds natural. I'm working on my dialoge skills myself right now and keep refering to you when i get confused.

Thanks again for doing a Kurt fic, he's one of my favs but hardly anyone does him, and if they do they hardly ever do him right.

Oh my, that was so good. The emotion was on-tack and perfect, what is great about this is what is not being said is clear and perhaps even more powerful then what is.

But the conversation with Magneto, Mystique, Azazel, and Kurt was fascinating, and really well-written, and so sad. Kurt's lines were particularly insightful and moving, and so revealing about his character, and indicative of the changes that had taken place in Azazel as well (since leaving the brotherhood). You've said the story will be wrapping up soon, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Kurt and Amanda's reunion (though I wish the story would last longer!)

Oh my goodness, talk about regret! You know the more I read from you the more I sympthy I feel for Mystique and Erik. It just goes to show you that the choices you make now will affect you later. funny how most people my age seem to forget that detail when choosing their paths.

The emotion you inspire oin the chap was great, I was tearing during Kurts little speech, but the kicker was at the end.

"Kurt,"

"Ja, liebing," he said, "Ja."

Now to be able to get me to hear the choked voice I know kurt had to answer in is skill. Your dialoge improves each chapter I think, and your form is just about perfect, it makes me wonder what you could did with something orginal. Just a thought.

On that note you should check out Sueric, she did Inuyasha fics for years, and is actully published now. Her skill reminds me alot of you. more food for thought. :)

Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while, but you know how much I like suggesting possible scenarios; it occurred to me that Rouge can greatly benefit from Stryker's mutation-suppressing collars, if one of them was modified so that she can open and close it at will and so that it looked like a necklace, so she can wear it outside of school; similarly to how Scott has his sunglasses for everyday use.

Wow, these fights were awesome! but I'm getting dissy with all the names. I know Erik's kids pretty much from the TV show, but I didn't know they went with the avengers later. Cool. I always hoped they would be able to get their lives on track and stop chasing after the papa's shadow.

Kurt's last line makes me think that mystique has gpot some explaining to do in the next chap. Ah, family drama.
