I love this story, please update soon. I think Merlin is just biding his time in order to put Arthur back on the throne, but I hope their relationship is not hurt by this!

You know he would never betray Arthur, just like Gwen, even if Arthur is still too hurt by Morgana's betrayal and lies that he can't see their true loyalty. And Leon probably learned his whole life not to trust sorcerers and has to quit that habit first. But Lance, Gwaine and Percival surely know Merlin better than to think he could have a single evil bone...

Stupid Arthur! Doesn't he realize that Merlin's working on a plan? He should know better than to doubt him. And Gwen would never betray him!

Although, he /did/ just find out that Morgana betrayed him, which was equally unthinkable. I guess he probably would just accept that. Sigh.

I'll be legit now. I love the plot line, though it is a cliff hanger and a tad bit confusing, cause merlin gwen not even happening. Sometimes I wish the language could be more robust, but then again, it is a fanfiction, and your life is busy and about to take a turn for the worse. have an emoticon :3

Not confused so much as dying. It's amusing. I mean, Merlin just talked his way out of torture by claiming he loved Gwen. And she played along. While Arthur presumably gaped like a fish. Its wonderful.
