i love everything about this story! i love the insight into shayera's initial thoughts when she joined the league, and hints of what drew her to john in the first place. LOVE. i hope you write more of this ship!

I really enjoyed this.

Shayera was perfectly in character as she researches and tries to understand her colleagues for various reasons. I liked how she was also learning skills from them in their various tactics and her interactions with John were well done, both subtle but also hinting at their later closeness as well.

Overall really awesome, you just captured her so well :)
