I read this through once and mourn for the loss of Dietrich..
I went back and read "Promises Kept" again...it reaffirmed the deep bond that Dietrich and Troy had...much admired characters.

Well written and moving story. But I regret that you did not warn that it included the death of a major character. Writers have taken a great many liberties with them over the years, but they should always live and go on.

How sad! Very beautiful though! :) I'll be recommending this one to my friends!
