Wow I just love this story! I'm actually surprised there aren't more X-Men x True Blood stories out there since Sookie and Rogue are so similar. I can't wait until the next chapter. How will Marie adjust to having her powers again? What attention will this bring to her by the vampires? Will her powers even fully work with Vampires? But I think in the comics Rogue's powers worked even with other species, so I can't wait to see what you have in store for Rogue.

Great crossover! I'm excited to see what will happen now that Marie has her power back Season 2 Events & an appearance from The X-Men? Update soon!

I thought of a few more things that would be good to happen after chapter 6:
* Marie keeps the ability to read minds as well as her previous power, but she is now able to control a little better when she uses it (but she does have to start covering up again around people) - they later discover the reason for this has something to do with the fact that Sookie is part fairy, and absorbing the small amout of her power that she did has somehow changed her ability permanently. The strange occurance can also be what prompts them to research into sookie's heritage sooner than they did in the TV show. Marie could brin up the subject with Eric in one of their meetings (which quickly become more frequent & intimate) he could then suggest that Queen Sophie-Ann could know more about what Sookie is as she has another cousin of Sookie's in her service that is suspected to be part fairy.
* there should be no betrayal of Bill looking into Sookie's family tree & heritage, as that is what lead her to fallout with him and end up with Eric - but Eric to be interested in Marie rather than Sookie which will be less complicated to explain if Sookie remains with Bill.
* Marie's returned ability does not work on vampires in the same way as it does on humans or other mutants - instead she can borrow some of a vampires super strength & speed when she chooses but cannot take their life force as they are technically dead. So this allows her relationship with Eric to heat up without the risk of loosing control with skin to skin exposure.
*If a vampire tries to drink Marie's blood though it will be deadly to them, so eric ends up having to be the one that demonstrates some control as he will not be able to bite her at all - but the challenge is one of the things that draws him to her as well as having some of the allure of a fairy. They could find this out the hard when one of Queen Sophie Ann's vampires tries to attack and kidnap marie.
*Eric and marie could still develop a bond in another way besides blood exchange - their bond builds the more times that marie shares Eric's vampire powers during sex, as she is unable to help but absorb him into her when they climax. This gradually leads to her also absorbing some of his past memories as well, so she knows all there is to know about him and he can be himself with her and let go of the macho emotionless facade he usually portrays.
*Wolverine should also come looking for Marie at some point later, resulting in her having all those unresolved feelings come to the surface again. But now she is with Eric - a battle could be imminent.
