Sorry, Luffy wouldn't do this. At least at first in this story he acts unapproving of someone else's dream. Luffy approves of everyone's dream. He would let his grandson be a marine.

"No one's gonna stop us from sending each other amazing and mysterious afros." In one sentence, you captured the very essence of Monkey D. Luffy's... well... his... something. But it IS very Luffy. You've got him down pat.

I personally think Roger should be slightly more Luffy-like, or that it should be established sooner, but you didn't do really badly by any standard that I can think of.

I think Luffy should have at least a couple of immediate nakama that aren't all old people by now. XD

I'm also glad that I'm not the only one that thinks that Franky and Robin make a good couple. I'm writing a fic about it, actually. There's also a great deal of Luffy being stupid. Keep an eye out! I know I will!

Really fun to read and I loved the idea of Smoker as one of the Emperors. He would be magnificient...

I really loved this! It was super cute and funny! The only part that threw me off was where you made Smoker (I love him to death) a yonko. The yonko are pirate emporors (Did I spell that right?) so how can a marine be one? Anyway, great story!
