Great story! I'm relatively new to the fandom and love Sybil/Tom. It took me a little time to read this from the beginning but it was well worth it! I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories.

Please go back and write of how tom came to find joe and how he(tom) was hurt. by the way from what you have writien so far it sound as if tom is now deaf in one ear and joe may have been shot or has a broken leg.

Please don't let tom get killed! it was bad a enough that they had to kill of lady s after she had just given bith to her 't you dare kill off tom, this and other fanfiction's are the only thing helping me survivor downton abbey withdraw.

I am so glad that you decided go continue with this story, it was very moving. Would Cora know how to make tea though? I was just thinking of Sybil's unsuccessful attempt in S2!

This was a powerful chapter. The beginning with Tom, wanting her both there with him and nowhere near was perfect. Definitely something I'd expect from Tom.

Cora was wonderful! She really seemed to be keeping her daughter up in the car.

I like how you ended it, with Tom's thoughts from the beginning coming true.

I've loved this story from the beginning and was ecstatic to see that you'd updated. I thought it perfect to have Cora go with Sybil and hope you show some more interaction between Cora and Peggy. And I loved this little part "She'd seen men like this before...But those men hadn't been hers." Can't wait to read the next chapter - you capture these two so beautifully.

Please tell me he hasn't lost an arm or something...
