Angsty fluff! Gotta love it. :) The playground seemed to be their own special place, didn't it? Wonderfully done! And the theme of Mandy Moore's 'Cry' gave it the perfect touch. Bravo! :)

I have to comment on something real quick before I go on. Why I was younger, I also had to stick up for a kid named Josh. Almost everyday, really. All the boys thought that he was too 'Girly' and would give him a hard time.

Now, more than fourteen years later, we still consider ourselves best friends. :)

Wow, what can I say? It just gets better and better. I love the last paragraph; it reminds me of a song lyric, "Sadness is beautiful." Okay, maybe that doesn't make sense, but that's the first thing that popped into my mind when I read it! "...raindrops were pouring in buckets and mingling with her tears." Too true... a bitter yet beautiful story that puts to prose perfectly a bitter yet beautiful song. Don't lose the way you capture emotion so well in written words, that's something many of us struggle with. And don't lose your taste in music either! _
