Wonderful chapter; it killed me that it ended-metaphorically of course. Though you've probably already written the next chapter, which I hope posts very very soon, while reading the middle of the chapter it occurred to me that maybe Hank uses Brennan's money to bid on her-or Hank and Max. That would really irk Sully and protect B & B. The little piece of paper could be so many things. Why hasn't he read it yet? Did they tell him what was on it before they gave it to him? Is it a ruse? Can't wait to find out. PS. Like that Hacker isn't quite the douche that Sully is, that he is using the rules and regulations to guide him. Sully has had 5 LI ice teas! Major meltdown coming.?

Eeekkkkk! Dying to know what's on that piece of paper! Sully is one slimy little creep. Hope to see him get his comeuppance!

Really liked the chapter. It was fun. Can't wait to find out what the paper is, though judging by Booth's calm demeanor it must be something that allows them to remain partners. Can't wait to read how the rest of the Gala/Awards night goes.

Oh gosh you are killing me! Sully is a first rate jackass so is Hacker for that matter. I love how protective they all are of each other, and Pops and Max are always welcomed so freaking awesome. It would be hilarious if we could get a scene with Angela and Sully hahaha I have a feeling it would just be a perfectly hilarious conversation.
