Interesting story. I would assume that Fury would have more backbone then has been displayed thus far, but then again there might be more that is being held over his head then the money.

my main issue is that if Tony and Elise are the children of people who were of child-making age during WW2, then, even if their parents waited until the 50s, their offspring would be in their 60s by the time the Avengers initiative was in swing in 2012. and while Elise could be 64, 67, 68 (who knows?) because there is never a physical description of her which would imply age, the Tony the reader pictures in their mind is definitely not that old. RDJ is still a youngish man, and Tony is too. while it might be nice to have mother-daughter, father-son fictions, this can't be one. it doesn't work out.
