Started reading this yesterday, and I absolutely love it. You've gotten most of the characters down pat, and you know their typing quirks very well. Im a bit dissapointed with Equius though. I know you said you're not very good at writing him, but I've always imagined him as more awkward. You did him a bit more straight forward.

So there, chickadee, I see there is no update to this TOTALLY FANTABULOUS SUPER ADORABLOODTHIRSTY KAWAII MOTHER FUCKIN' DESU story. It's been a while and, although there is no pressure, I feel the need to comment each week it hasn't updated. As a novice writer, I understand how messed up writer's block can be, but just a small segment stating that you'll be updating in due time will be comforting. I love this story and wish for it's AWESMAZINGNESS to continue, but the author is just as important in a story. I've re-read this thing about two times dreaming of updates, and have been nearly writing fanfictions of this fanfiction...is that bad? Anyhow, I hope that you continue your splendid journey throughout this story, and have much inspiration filling your heart. Now I'm gonna go write some DavexJade kawaii, super cheesy, nobody gives a fuck fanfic to calm my writhing nerves. - c2 - that's a weird heart I learned how to make :)

no seriously. update. i've been so tempted to draw designs for every character in here. like what they'd end up looking like. i have a strong image of what nepeta would end up looking like by the time she ended up at jade's island. gamzee probably would end up with pretty much the exact same clothes, but with a couple of tatters, bloodstains EVERYWHERE and probably bits of stuff in his messy hair. eridan will probably end up looking pretty much fucking pristine as a baby's ass, but only with a couple of frayed items of clothing and a little bit of blood. but i can just imagine eridan just strutting about the place in zombieland ( another word for literally a land full of zombies ( and amazing movie btw have you watched it? i think that the homestucks would be awesome in that film. i've seen an element of that in this fic - double tap rule - but that could just be a coincidence)) and not really encountering any zombies. and why do i imagine terezi making up a new larp character because of the new zombie apocalype. like an absolute kickass character. i can just see her making a new costume of that character with items of clothing that she just picks up across the towns and such.

and that also make me question the fact that if the characters are that revolted by the smell of blood and shit why don't they just find a shop in the city and just steal some clothes that'll be relatively fitting instead of sitting around in their hideout covered in guts. i never understand zombie film logic if none of the characters don't do this. it'd be one of the first things that i'd be doing if i ever was in a zombie apocalype. i'd also like change out of my god-tier jammies straight away to save them best i can. meh. oh well.

and you're doing fiiiiine with writting all the characters! i personally can just see terezi as someone who finds this ten year old kid in this fic and she just keeps trying to impress him and shit and he'd be the cutest thing ever. omg. and earlier in the fic you said about how people can read this if they don't even support the ship? i kept reading because i don't really care about the ship as long as it's got a good plot line. i.e. it could be the weirdest pairing - for example...rose and karkat's lusus - and i really couldn't care less. i'd probably gush over the cutesy fluffiness. i pretty have so much ships that the spanish armada wouldn't be a match against me. i ship karkat with pretty much everyone in the beta timeline :3

and yeah. omg. i just realised how long this review is. i apologise! but i just wanted to know if things are fine with you? it's a little bit odd to start reading a fanfiction get a chapter away from finishing and then get this author's note saying that you've been away for a while. and then i checked and it's been like two months since you've updated! oh and you know that you said that you put the author's note in bold and at the top of the page just so that more people will read them? i try not to avoid them since i kinda feel like i'm just going "hey i'm just ignore everything you're about to say and just come and read what i came for!" if i skip over them, to i try not to :33
