Fantastic history!

Sometimes the beauty is in the simplicity and this story is a perfect example of it. I loved how you ended it. I saw the last line before I finished reading and assumed Nina was crying because her feet were in bad shape. But it was a good twist to have her cry because she messed up her shoes. That fits so well with Nina's character and like one reviewer said, is probably something that really did happen to her. Nina most likely though that her feet will heal, but the shoes have been forever tainted in her mind. Excellent short.
