 Fanatical-Chick 6/7/10 . chapter 1I love this!
It's hard to find actual literature - either canon or fanon - that properly explores the real reasons behind Erik's motivations, and I think you did it wonderfully. It was beautifully written, and it made me feel so sad for a character that I actually feel really stupid for having not given a proper look into until about a week ago. : You definitely fed my insatiable desire to read more about him now that I've devoured all of the character summaries and comics I could find!
I'm definitely adding this to favorites. It's so wonderful and marvelous! Poor Magneto, he really does have a sad, sad life. |
Rainiday 4/29/04 . chapter 1 Wonderful, wondwrful story! I absolutely LOVE Erik and I really felt for him. There aren't many fics like this one wich aren't action or some plotless angst. And there certainly aren't many including Magda.
Well done! |
 S. Mark Gunther 12/14/03 . chapter 1All I can say is this: Wow.
My friend Gale linked me to this story and I'm glad she did. You sir have written a masterpiece. I am impressed.
I particularly love the Magnus here. This isn't the all singing all dancing dictator of the world here; this is a flawed, very real MAN trying to figure it all out. This is what I needed to read as I do my work for both Gale and my own stuff.
Brava, amigo. I'll be keeping an eye on you. |
Rags666 6/15/03 . chapter 1 That was excellent, the lines at the begining are perfect Magnus. |
Jazz 5/26/03 . chapter 1 This story was great keep up the good work! |
Brenda Shaffer-Shiring 1/15/03 . chapter 1An exquisitely-crafted look into the heart of a complex and tragic character, and the turn of events that could have changed the whole course of his life. Thank you for sharing - and for reminding me just why Magneto fascinates me. |
 Becca 6/11/02 . chapter 1 This is a wonderful story. |
Gale 5/14/02 . chapter 1I'm actually crying my eyes out right now. You've done it again, Alara. Just what I've been hoping to see. |
Dorian Blackthorne theowl 5/13/02 . chapter 1Wonderful study of a truly facinating character. Everything was true to form. On a scale of one to ten, I'd give it an easy twelve. |
