A little different, a little subdued. I'm curious as to whether this was supposed to take place during the anime series of the comic - it seems to be a variation on both but works well. I'm wondering if perhaps you'd want to draw back on the lyrics and concentrate more on the biblical references - it seems they'd fit Nick better. Otherwise, a nice ficlet.
