This story is super good! I'm not happy that Eliot is dead but it wouldn't have worked with him.

It was really a good idea for you to state that in your first chapter's author's note that everything except profanity was welcome, because honestly, during the first few chapters, I had zeroed upon a few native determinedly chosen cuss words.

I guess the only reason I did read till the end was your promise that it had a happy ending. Somehow in the back of my mind was an idea that maybe Eliot would be alive in the end - as a veggie, in captivity, under constant drugging - whatever but still alive. And considering you simply mentioned him pulling the trigger but the bullet not hitting the mark (yes I watch and read a lot of drama). Maybe it was because of my favoritism towards the hitter.

Right now I'd say, I don't wish to abuse anymore but I did end up crying in this one twice - once at Eliot's funeral and second when the story ended and he still remained dead.

Now keeping Spencer dear aside, beautifully written. Somehow the grief of losing Sophie was overcome by Elaine. And Parker-Hardison still made me feel as warm inside as Rogers and Downey wrote them to be.

The new team reminded me of Season 1 on a few instances. They were a lot different somehow though.

Thanks for bringing Nate back. After Eliot, he owns a special corner in my heart.

OMG I lovelovelove this chapter! Big happy resolution and SO many great lines! The "wow, that's not cliche" bit was my favorite. The Taggert and McSweeten bit was a close second, though. :) Humor in serious stories is always fun.

Done already? Wow! I love the ending. Tara was telling the truth. *relieved sigh* Really glad to read that. Nate and Hardison were carrying fake guns? Priceless! Let me guess, it was a "what would Eliot do?" idea? And the epilogue! :-D I loved it. The burgeoning mesh of the new team and the old. And hints at a possible third team when Mini-Grifter grows up! I loved how she protested Nate's retirement. Any chance of a sequel of some sort? I'd love to see more of Parker Ford growing up and Alec's team. They're a riot and I got a hunch that they'd end up adopting Parker Jr as a little sister. Oh, and maybe some P/H cousins, too? *puppy eyes*

So Tara was going for Moreau and Sophie just happened to get in Moreau's sights... And why would he go after Sophie when he wanted Eliot most? Or was it about the psychological torture that would put Eliot through? I'm glad Sophie found a way to let little Parker know about Nate and crew. If only Eliot could be with them like Sophie said. There isn't some way to bring him back from the dead, is there? *puppy eyes* Oh boy, Parker Ford is gonna grow up to be a one man team at this rate. She's already pulling her mother's tricks instinctively. When is the junior team gonna come into play? The way you wove them into the fabric of the story, I figure they'll have to play their own key part before Parker II comes home and Moreau is gone for good. Especially since Moreau thinks he has all the players were he can control them. I want to see Ashley make like Eliot and kick his ass. And I'm not sure I'm completely convinced by Tara's story. It's too easy to claim and too hard to prove. I want to believe it, but... And I'm assuming Tara's blue-eyed man was Eliot? Then why didn't she find a way to let him know what had really gone down? If only the Parker II as still alive. I think he'd have held on for the little one. Why on earth, if she told Nate the truth, did she wait this long?

OMGOMGOMG! THIS WAS AMAZING! Unnecessary capital letters are absolutely necessary to describe the amazingness. Badass Hardison and Moreau and Tara who isn't totally evil after all and Nate and SOPHIE and omg LITTLE PARKER! Little Parker! Who is the MOST ADORABLE little kid ever! So, yeah. Epicness.

Dun dun dun. Loved the cliffie. And the video sort of made me tear up a little. Great chapter.

This fic... Wow! This is good. I like your OCs. They're similar enough to the old team to flow but still distinct enough to be more than carbon copies. I wish Sophie and Eliot were alive to meet them. Even Quinn's reaction would be entertaining. The Deveraux-Ford baby... *squee* I hope they do something of that caliber in the actual series. And I'm glad she didn't die like it seemed she must have. I can't believe Tara! I mean, she was never quite on the same page as the others but she was getting there the last time we saw her. But if there was enough money involved and it was after she'd stopped working with them, I guess she just might. What I don't understand is why she didn't find some way to get the baby to Nate. Unless that was the only way to protect the baby? Because I don't think she would have personally hated the team enough to keep the baby away out of spite and she doesn't seem the sort to willingly harm a child.

At first, I wasn't so sure about Eliot eating a gun. I mean he hates them. But then I thought about it and it does fit in a twisted way. If he hated himself enough to kill himself, he'd do it with the one weapon he hated most as a last "screw you" to himself.

Any chance we find out the kiddo's name next update? :-)

This chapter made me super happy. Which is unusual for this story 'cause it's usually sort of a downer (in the best possible way of course). I honestly thought Tara was going to be working for Sterling at one point, but Unknown Evil Dude and Moreau is better. It would be awesome if you could fit him in somewhere though, maybe the kidnapping gets investigated by Interpol. (I'm assuming the plan they have for Mini Sophie doesn't involve legal custody, but who knows, maybe they are just that good...) I also love love love the development of Nate's (and the rest of th team's) reputations through Hardison's criminal young'ns, they really are legends, aren't they? I like how Hardison's guy learned from Starke. I am now really interested in knowing how to pull off the Devereaux Shuffle and the Ford ummm... Flop? Was that it? Hehe.
