| Guest 4/14/13 . chapter 6
"As humans, when we reach the end of our rope, when we have our backs to a cliff and an enemy is approaching, we stop feeling fear. We get angry because when the flight instinct is taken away, all our lizard brains have left is the fight response. Do you feel cornered right now?"
This fic is AMAZING! I've been hooked on it all weekend and it has really gotten under my skin, thank you for this epic tale.

Great story! I love AU stories, considering I don't like Miracle Day that much. It's very well written and keeps me always wanting to read on. Keep up the good work! :)
| Someone 4/10/12 . chapter 12
Read the story in one go, took me some time, but I couldn't stop reading!
I love it and I love the fact that you created your own AU. I'm not a big fan of Miracle Day and this is a nice alternate take on what could've happened after CoE.3
Please do continue writing. :P
| Aerynv 4/8/12 . chapter 12
Woohoo Jack's back. Can't wait to see what happens now that Jack's around.
| BookJunkie007 4/4/12 . chapter 12
Aw, Jack came back! I was wondering if he would. I love how messed up and broken the whole situation is. As with anything when it comes to Torchwood, it isn't going to be fixed neatly, and I can't wait to see what how the team deals with Jack coming back.
| chironsgirl 3/7/12 . chapter 11
Poor Gwen! Shew found a friend, who then has to run off to China... Which can be a scary place.
And Martha is going to be memorialized in a funny...lifty thing. Which, strangely, would make her happy.
| chironsgirl 2/14/12 . chapter 8
I think Samson has a place in Torchwood.
| chironsgirl 2/13/12 . chapter 6
I can tell you how sleep deprivation can mess a person up. I have a chronic sleep problem. If I get 4 whole hours of sleep in a row that's a miracle.
Chronic sleep deprivation wrecks your emotional control and ruins your judgement. It also tanks your immune system. You can also loose your job.
You don't heal as well, you get sick more often and take longer to get better. You become prone to infection. You loose your ability to deal with any sort of stress. The slightest upheaval in life becomes overwhelming. And you are not able to focus or concentrate. Or hold a sensible conversation.
All this is what Gwen has to look forward to.
| veritas6.5 2/7/12 . chapter 8
Sorry I haven't commented before, but many thanks to you for writing Gwen as a human being and not a spoiled brat. I love the way you describe her without being maudlin, and give good reason for her actions. I also really like her with Martha. This chapter (8) is particularly good!
I also agree with BookJunkie007, please consider a beta or a proofreader. This line gave me a real jolt, and all it needed was a space to clean it up.
That salvesher pride slightly. (That salves her pride slightly.)
I can't wait for more chapters in this story. Your writing is sophisticated and quite descriptive in the best way. More, please, and soon?
| BookJunkie007 1/28/12 . chapter 7
Excellent. Very nice first mission without Jack with minimal loss/damage.
| Stelia22 1/27/12 . chapter 2
Can I please just go and sob my heart out? This fic has got me crying already. Please keep on updating, because I think after reading the next few chapters I'll be bawling even more, then I'll be wanting to bawl even more because your writing's fantastic.
It's so sad about Rhys dying and Jack leaving and Gwen's baby (and how they were going to name her Anwen-the canon name for the baby) and everything and argh I'm getting really upset again.
