Teardrop Crystal 2003-03-08 . chapter 1Hey, if you liked Zelda, I've got another great game that I think you will like. It's a rpg, of course, all great games are role playing. The graphics aren't the best, but they're pretty good, and they don't take anything away from the game. It can either be a 2 player or a 1 player. The second player would take the role of the computer. The second player is frequently switching from one extremely cool charcter to the next. It has a great plot, well, several great plots. The best part about it is that it is long, just like the Zelda series are. However, unlike Zelda, when you play it again after beating it once, you run into new characters that you may not of seen the first time you played it, and you come across new quests. There are 67 quests in all, and it is impossible to do them all on your first try, or the many tries after that, that is, unless you cheat. But its ok to look up some things, that is after you've beaten it once, preferable twice on your own, or you'll spoil the fun. You also get to grow fruit to feed your pets which you can that you find different areas. Pets are cool because they help your luck and they help you fight. After completing certain quests, you can make your own weapons, armor, and instruments that are used to creat spells. In the game you run into the weirdest characters and the coolest characters. What is this game you are wondering? It is Legend of Mana for the playstation one. I like it alot more than my playstation two games, mainly because it is challenging and I can't beat it in one to two weeks. Heck, unless I play all day long, I can't even beat it within a month, well at least I don't think I can, well I can if I rush through it and skip like 3/4 of the quests. Yes, you don't have to complete all, or most of the quests to beat it. And after you beat it, they start you back at the begining with all of your items, pets, instruments, and armor, but none of the quests are completed. Then you can go into your library and go to a certain book and pick another mode that will raise all of the enemies levels making it even harder. Once you complete that mode, you get to start over again, except this time, the enemy levels are all at level 99, the highest level, wow! And like I said before, it is almost impossible to get all of the quest done in the same mode/game. I hope you like it. I hope you have a playstation too, or else the game won't be any fun, because you won't be able to play it. Well you could get the rom, but I don't know how roms are in comparison to the real thing, and plus they're illegal. Hehe, bye, oh and by the way, great fic. :) |
