I could actually picture the anime version of this in my head as i was reading! Great one-shot! I think you pulled off Takeda's personality very well! This would make an awesome deleted scene!

Takada's pride and assertive personality really shine through here. Reading it made me feel oddly uncomfortable, because on one hand, she was wronged, but on the other, her attitude is too unlikeable. The manga/anime definitely didn't make me feel as conflicted toward Takada. I love how her last reprimand to Light is so ironic, seeing as five years down the road, she would've happily become that other woman herself. I doubt that it was unintentional ;)

I've got to be honest, I've never given Takada much thought. Other than the fact that she was supposedly a lesser, female version of Light; she never really stood out to me as a character.

You fleshed her out quite well, it's interesting to see how you've given her such depth. We are given a view of her jealousy and her arrogance as a woman. I think you succeeded at portraying her as someone that was desperately trying to achieve perfection and thus was horrified that someone as near physical perfect as Light would not choose her but rather an egg-headed model like Misa. That and I've always imagined Takada as a bit uptight and narrow-minded. She doesn't exactly seem to be kind at heart.

There's something about the way you write Misa that makes me smile. You've got her air-headed facade down to a tee.

Glad to see that even Takada can see the chemistry between both Erin and L. :]

I think this piece really opened my eyes to the opportunities of having side characters. By giving Takada emotions and a voice, you've created a living person rather than a typically ordinary filler character. A person that more fans will feel both sympathy and empathy for.

Hmm, I'm feeling rather loquacious today. I could probably go on and on about adding depth to side characters and the like but I'll stop.

Well, you accomplished two things with this oneshot: You made me laugh quite hard and made me feel empathetic towards Takada.

Seriously, you have a gift with humour. I had to read L's statement about Erin's underarms twice, just to make sure I was reading it right! That little comment of his made me laugh quite hard! And Misa's and Takada's cat fight was quite humourous as well.

I think you accomplished making the reader feel empathetic towards Takada. However snobby and internally rude she can be, she still has feelings and can become hurt. I did feel sorry for her. Then again, I'm happy she got away from Light when she did; hopefully, in the SOTC universe, she'll have a happy ending, instead of the tragic one in canon. In addition, I think you wrote her very IC.

I also loved how you delved deeper into the relationship that Light and Takada had.

Another amazing one shot! I really love these little one shots, and how you delve deeper not just into L and Erin, but into everyone else as well.

I think Takada here seems very much in character. Misa had me giggling, and L and his normal sarcastic remarks made me laugh. Overall, this is an excellent piece and very interesting. I feel a little sorry for Takada but I figure she'll be okay

Takada is hardly the most sympathetic character to begin with, but I think you did a good job with her here. I felt- not really sorry for her, but I felt like I could empathize with her a lot more than usual, because seeing how these look from her end is depressing to say the least, and no matter how unpleasant she may have been, I don't think she deserved the treatment she got from Light's hands in this. All in all I'd say this was a really nice portrayal of an often overlooked character. Thanks for writing it!
