Please continue the story. I've always wanted to read a fanfic that didn't involve a Cathy and Heathcliff pairing, just to see how it would be like. I actually really love the book, but this is a nice experience.

Grammar and punctuation aside, your story is interesting and opens many possibilities. How long before Heathcliff realizes your heroine isn't Cathy? Will they become friends once he knows? Will she take him though the closet and into the twenty-first century where he and Cathy could be together?

Then too, there are so many comparisons to be made, for instance the difficulties your heroine would face adjusting to life in the eighteenth century. Modern expressions she might use that would confuse Heathcliff.

I enjoyed it. I hope you will reconsider and write more.
