Aww. Reading this made me so sad, yet so happy at the same time. It made me relive reading The Fault in Our Stars for the first time, but also brought the harsh reality of Hazel's monologue to her parents about her being a grenade.

I think you captured perfectly the pain in Hazel's tone. Not too dramatic or anything, and just so true-to-life. She accepts things as they are, and doesn't make the whole ordeal with her cancer too overwhelming or underwhelming. You just pulled this off perfectly.

I can't decide whether to be happy or sad. Happy that you wrote a TFiOS fic, or sad that there's no section for TFiOS. Happy that Hazel lived, or sad that Augustus (i refuse to call him Gus) died. Happy that i have read this, sad that i will never have those few minutes of reading this for the first time again. Happy that this was one of the most beautiful peices of writing i have ever read, or sad that its making me cry.

I'm gonna go with happy. i will treasure the little infinity this fic gave me. and i'm sorry i seem still to not have portrayed all the emotion i am feeling into this review. my thoughts are stars i cannot fathom into constellations.
