It was great, the sections where they both agonize over how the other has betrayed them, and how they slowly become so desperate to forget those painful memories that they convince themselves that they've always been enemies, and never more to each other.

It was written beautifully, and the way of alternating perspectives between paragraphs is one that I didn't really enjoy at the beginning (it was just difficult to keep track of who was thinking what), but it became more enjoyable towards the end. Really well done.
