I'm not a Zutara shipper - I've always hated Katara for some reason - but you make it beautiful.

I liked this. My only suggestion would be to ease up on the "and something and something and something" device; it gets a bit much (and hard to follow). Otherwise, lovely.

Favorite line: "They'll find us here, she doesn't say, and we'll fall away from each other and go on to another future."

This was awesome. I am a Zutara fan and this is a wonderful way to show their feelings while still being technically canon.

Amazing work, as usual! I love the metaphor of the trees, and the way you use the colors to illustrate their emotions... and it's so horribly real, how they were feeling right after the war finished...that idea of the end coming and not being able to stop it. Very, very beautiful! You're definitely my favourite author on xD
