Poor, poor Alec. I'm feeling for both he and Max right now. Once again, you've done an excellent job in making me hate Renfro. The way you write her just makes me feel icky, which considering what's happening, seems appropriate. I love that you've given us a little peek into what Alec went through while at Manticore. I can't wait to see how you make this all unfold.

Wow I thought the last chapter was emotional, but this one beats that by a mile I literally had tears in my eyes while reading this. Alec has been through so much pain it is amazing he became the person he is - I wish the show had touched on this more. And I have to admit I didn't think it was possible but you actually got me to like Max, in fact in this chapter I think she is awesome and trust me I didn't think that was possible. I hope Alec lets her help as he is going to need it to start his long road to recovery. Absolutely amazing update and I can't wait for the next one.

Holy nora what a chapter, very difficult to read in places - not the writing I hasten to add before I get lynched, but the subject matter - but full of emotion, pain and angst. Now you know how much I love h/c stories, but even I have to admit I hope it is all over for Alec soon. Awesome update as always hun.
