So, question, did it ever say that the wereowolves and vampires disliked each other in the game? Or was that just like playing the classic card that the two of them are mortal enemies. Cause I honestly don't remember the Companion's quest and some of the things that took place in it. D:

I really do love this fanfic. It's one of the few ones I have on alert that I jump in glee to read. It's also one of the few I put actual heart into the reviews. It takes a good fic for me to write a review with how I actually feel. I woke up earlier than usual this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. You know what I did? I sat up in bed and said:

"Fuck this. Ima go read Scent."

And it was a wonderful way to start my day!

I'm eternally grateful there's a fic like this here. There has been only a handful of fanfictions that have truly caught my attention and have HELD it. I can honestly say this is one of them. You write the interaction between Faolan and Aela perfectly. The problem with a lot of fics out there is that the relationship starts way, way too fast. There's either a kiss, or sex depending on the rating, within sometimes two chapters or less. There's no buildup and no character development. Not only that, but the grammar in some of those fics are terrible.

However in Scent, the plot is solid and the characters are rich. Your grammar and punctuation is spot on as well. You space the paragraphs correctly and always start a new line when it comes to dialogue.

Hell, I can write an essay on how wonderful this fanfic is and it's only been three chapters.

Aela/F!Dragonborn is starting to be one of my fave pairings plus with an added bonus of the whole forbidden love thing has made this story a fave.

Halfway through the game and haven't encountered any significant Vamps yet. Can't wait to meet them.

Awesome chapter. I like what you did with Lydia, making her the Dragonborn's...I guess caretaker? That human servant every vampire seems to have. Very creative, and I also like just how its all written. Very descriptive and just all around good. I love this story so far, and I look forward to reading more.

Ugh. Your fanfiction has me drawn as if hooks have been dug into my skin. I simply could not bear to look away one second while reading this. And eventually it ended, much to my disdain.
