kaihil lover 4/24/12 . chapter 1This was very interesting, different perspective, very.
Hiromi, in glasses, hmm, nice.
So they refused to admit that they like each other.
I liked Tyson's line. [You and Hiromi! Dammit Kai, don't you guys realize what the hell you're doing? You're both hurting people left and right. Either stop it or go forwards.]
It was interesting the way you showed their uncertainty and the way they couldn't let each other go.
That was sweet: ["No. Whether she was gone or not I would have come anyways."]
I liked it, sorry for the very late review, I was on hiatus. :P |
Gigglesworth 2/20/12 . chapter 1wow, the realism of it all. It's almost like Deja Vu' with my two friends who had this 'thing' with each other and I'm in the middle watching them hurt their temporary partner's feelings after they got back together. In a few months they separate again and get back together in another month... The cycle keeps repeating.
Way to go in capturing these feelings with great detail. Despite this being a one-shot, have you considered in giving these two some sort of closure? just askin' :D
I sound like I'm asking for a sequel... |
cOOlzanimeaDDict 1/29/12 . chapter 1Loved it! You manage to amaze me every time you update.
I think you should do more chapters.
Keep writing. |
Dead-bY-n0w 1/28/12 . chapter 1You know, this reminded me of the story of yours, where Hiromi meets Kai after many many years, while she's buying oil paint for painting because she broke up with her boyfriend. She takes Kai home and then invites him in...I'm sorry I forgot the name, but while I was reading this, I was TOTALLY thinking that it was a sequel to that story...
And, as always, it is amazing! I love how you capture a surreal relationship and turn it into something so unique that it never leaves my mind. If I were to read a story of yours, I'd instantly recognize it as zulka's because of, one: the way you write, two: purple prose (;p) and three: the relationships you capture...
It was the same case with most of your stories...Anyways, I liked the very idea of it. Doing things that you KNOW are wrong, but you just can't stop. I can relate to the idea, though not exactly the story...
I wonder, though, why they're not getting together...I mean, if they feel something and they know that the other feels it, too, then...how come?
Anyways, I liked the simplicity to this...;p And, the point it reached just due to that simplicity. Applauds on a job well done...:) |
Ms. Controversy 1/27/12 . chapter 1Never have I ever read a story, since joining Fanfic in 2002, that I can relate to like this one. I really don't know what else to say. It's so real. I think this would be great with more chapters, I really do it can turn into something.
Though leaving it as a one shot is also interesting b/c it leaves us to interpret.
I'm really impressed! |
K'onix 1/27/12 . chapter 1It's horrible, but I you know that this happens a lot in real life.
I liked how you brought out that they both knew what they were doing was messed up, but they wouldn't/couldn't do anything about it. They're just stuck where they are. I can't decided if it's because they don't know who to say they want to be back together or if they really don't want to. Or if one of them wants it and the other doesn't.
Still, it hurts either way. Having something half-way hurts more than not having it at all.
And wow, you're on fire lately. I swear, I had two updates from you when I checked my inbox and then while I was looking at another messages, a new one showed up. Keep up the good work. |
Moonlight Serenity 1/27/12 . chapter 1Love love love love it. You always show such interesting angles. Gosh. It's like perfect... Simple and short, but complicated, too, and lovely. I'm a little speechless, I think. You just wiped my brain. I've never pictured Hiromi with glasses, but I like it.
superb :) |
