I loved your take on Ember's past life. I think you did a wonderful job on it. :)

It was a good story, but a little rushed. In her song "You Will Remember(My Name)" she says that she actually had fallen in love with the boy and doesn't commit suicide(which is supposed to be how the house burnt down) until December, which she states in the line "like bad dreams in cold December, nothing but ashes remain" referring to her suicide in december. Besides the lack of research put in, this a great story, keep writing.

I love this story! I adore the way you've characterized human Ember (a.k.a. Anna). Somehow, I find this story a little more believable than some of the other Ember fics out there.
