Wow.. What a beautiful and sad ending. I am a little confused. Is Edward mortal or immortal? I think that it was always Bella's destiny to die and Edward came for her. Does he follow her? Can we have an epilogue? PLEASE!

This chapter left me confused. Wasn’t Edward a vampire (or at least I thought this was implied) – and if so how’d he end up being in an accident? IS she planning on donating organs – but wasn’t she sick already and if so wouldn’t that preclude the donation? And how would she or Edward know about the potential receiver, isn’t that kind of stuff kept confidential?
Based on your a/n it sounds like this story is done- which confuses me b/c the end feels incomplete, I assume its left vague on purpose. I can see where this story served you as a sounding board for your thoughts on mortality, tbh it was fascinating to read. I have enjoyed reading your beautiful writing, thx for sharing.

Oh my gosh...this one had me hooked from the start...I don't really read Edward/Bella anymore but this was sooo beautiful ...I kinda hope for an epilogue but not sure what Edward ended up deciding !

This is one of those things that is really well done, but horrific at the same time. This week was the tenth anniversary of my friend who dropped dead at age 41. She was such a wonderful person and had so much to give. I like the thought of the veil being lifted at the end.

I'm not going to claim I understood everything that happened in this story and I guess that since it was such a personal journey for you maybe I wasn't meant to. However, that didn't detract from how much I enjoyed the journey with you so thank you for a beautifully written and thought provoking piece (or should I say peace) ;)

I've been totally captivated by this story for the past couple hours and have not reviewed once. I started reading the first chapters as you posted them and soon realized I should wait until the story was complete. SO glad I did.
Your storytelling evoked such a calmness and symmetry whithin life's most incomprehensive realities. And like those great baffling mysteries, one must find a peace within the great contemplation. That is what you seemed to pen down in my mind- and did it with grace and respect for all aspects of the human condition (frustration, love, hurt fear, etc- it was all there). Death is with us even as we live... I could just go on and on with the thoughts this story has brought to mind. Thank you for writing and sharing! I will be looking forward to more of your work.
