Rose1948 1/15/12 . chapter 1Short, succinct, and to the point. Except where you spelled "cowardice" as "cowardess" (that one caused my mind to trip a bit) I didn't spot any mistakes. I just wonder how long it took Genma to go from zero to mach three in an effort to stay alive. ::snickers:: |
Rune Tobor 2/20/11 . chapter 1 Ranma should just abandon honor, it as failed him.
Honor is like a ship, if it is so damaged that its sinking then abandon it! |
GeorgeTobor 9/14/10 . chapter 1I don't see how killing the panda gets Ranma out of the amazon claim. When Genma dies it could get the Tendo and Kuonji claims nulled, maybe, I'm not sure. I favor the use of a sniper rifle on the various idiots. First you shoot the old pervert, then the old ghoul, pot the panda next followed by Nabiki, Soun, Akane, and Ukyo and Nadoka. Then only Kasumi is left, as she did not marry Ranma but pushed him onto her violent sister, the eldest Tendo girl has only limited her guilt. Kasumi could have poisoned her useless father, drugged Akane and given the tomboy to Kuno, killed that harpy Nabiki in her sleep. Kasumi could have solved the entire mess early on. But She Did Not. The saying it takes a village to raise a child means that if the entire ward of Nerima had not looked the other way something could have been done about Ranmas problems. All Nerima is guilty of child abandonment. Neglect. Good men who do nothing in the face of evil are not good but evil men. |
Blackdex 6/6/10 . chapter 1Not much to follow up with. ciao |
GameGuardian2x 11/24/08 . chapter 1I must admit to some confusion (hmn, this seems to have become a stock phrase. Oh, well.) as to just how Genma committing Sepuku (That is what is being implied, right) will absolve the honor of anyone.
Could someone explain this to me? |
Sony Boy 1/10/08 . chapter 1I don't know if i should feel guilty about the fact that I found Ranma's last words funny or not. In the end I have come to peace with the fact that it was a perfect ending line.
On the other hand i feel that in a way that would actually work if they could KEEP Genma there without him running off to escape.
Oh well, kudo's on being the first fic I've seen with this ending. |
Tildessmoo 8/23/06 . chapter 1A new take on an old idea, and a wonderful twist to what at first appears to be a standard "Ranma fixes everything" fic, turning it into a "Ranma 'fixes' Genma." |
 dogbertcarroll 8/4/04 . chapter 1I like it. |
 taxzombie 7/29/04 . chapter 1Like it.
Unlike some I do not consider it a spam fic.
It is a short and to the point (no pun intended) story resolving the problems brought about by Genma's unhonorable actions in regards to Ranma.
With all his spouting about honor it is the only true solution available. IF he truly has any honor. He'd probably try to make a break for it but I figure Ranma would be ready for that. |
anon 9/23/02 . chapter 1 loved the story write a chapter two |
 N. Reynolds 7/15/02 . chapter 1This is a test |
BlazeStryker 5/15/02 . chapter 1Oh, Man.. Genma should have seen this coming, since his Mom goes ON and ON about that stupid pledge, Ranma's gonna enforce its consequences on Genma.
I realise this could be stopped here as a nightmare of the Panda, but please go on.. it intrigues me. (Umisenken is likely engaged already, as Genma won't attack, but he's a GREAT coward) |
Ghost in the Machine 5/15/02 . chapter 1He could always become a Budhist monk, which automatically negates any other entanglements. |
Zpan Sven 5/15/02 . chapter 1Ooo, write more soon! |
Saggit 5/15/02 . chapter 1 "Kodachi, I don't hold you responsible for Kuno, because he is uncontrollable, But any sparring between you and anyone here, and we will never marry." Well, yes-but you completely overlook, in this and other comments you've placed in Ranma's mouth, the matter of revenge. Any of the girls, with the exception of Akane, would be fully capable of beating and potentially killing whomever won Ranma, just out of fury, which seldom follows the nice, neat pathways laid by Logic.
Point two. I realize that Ranma is speaking with your voice rather than his own, but you've created a nice setup for a continuation. I can't believe Genma would ever agree to the option Ranma has handed him, and that leaves us back at square one. Something else will be required. |
