Sorry to all who could not get access to the 4th chapter. I am not too sure what happened, but hopefully you all have access now. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Enjoy!
It's a good thing that the rules of libel don't apply to fiction. This depiction of Webb is not simply biased or subjective, which would be fine; it is totally delusional. I'm not saying you have to like Webb; no one has the right to do that, least of all I. But please, do try to present the man with at least some marginal understanding of the person he was. That, at least, would prevent such ludicrous misrepresentations as are presented here. If nothing else, do realize that if Webb wanted to get rid of Harm, in itself questionable, he could have done so far more easily, with far less risk to himself. No one would ever even know what happened to Harm. True, Webb might not have ended up with Mac, even then, but neither her disappearance nor Harm's would be any loss whatsoever.
Loved this chapter, especially at last Harm said out loud he loved her, Glad Clay is dead, just hope Harm doesn't have to stand trial, after all it was self defence.
Wow, I didn't see that whole scene coming but I thought Clay was going to ambush Harm! Wow, that's all I can say. What a chapter! I am glad that Harm and Mac are okay (alive) but I am sure there will be some angst and romance in future chapters. Update soon please!
this harm of yours dear writer is anythig but a man. he has no dignity at all. has he no shame at pine over a woman whose vagina was being eating by another man?

I was remiss in not acknowledging the effort of "Shipperony," who clearly works hard toward holding her readers' attention. This is never an easy task, and she has my respect for it.
However, I still feel that Clayton Webb is a far stronger character, and of infinitely greater resources and integrity, than has been offered in diverse recent stories, including this.
Admittedly, the persona of Clayton Webb has always fascinated me. I only wish I could claim a fraction of his intelligence (no pun intended)or many other characteristics. He is a multi-faceted person who, after being introduced as shallow, officious, and petty, evolved into so much more. If any of the characters in "JAG," were real, he'd be one of the few who was truly worth might include the Admiral, Gunny, Harriet,Porter Webb, perhaps even Jennifer Coates, but quite honestly, never either Harm or Mac.

I'd like to add a point, if I may. Mac made her choice. She chose to be with Clay. Understandably, Harm doesn't like this, fair enough. But he does need to respect it. If she's made an error, it was hers to make.
Frankly, I don't think Harm is truly ready to make any committment. In the interests of fairness, though, I don't think Mac is either. Neither has the maturity, or the ability to put someone else first.
