MissiYoung 7/8/12 . chapter 10So sweet and sad and vindicating-absolutely perfect story! |
DeathOfSanity 5/17/12 . chapter 10I loved this story. And I love the way that you create such memorable characters. Oonagh truly was amazing. And beautiful ending; sad, but beautiful. Thanks for sharing! |
BrandSpankingNew 4/4/12 . chapter 10And that, my friend, is how you write an OC. I loved this story so much I could hardly bear to see it end. And between you and me...i believe her hubby came for her and held her one more time. Beautiful! |
stareagle 4/1/12 . chapter 10This was an outstanding story. I loved having the Jag tie in. I loved the way Tony handled interrogation and then the obnoxious daughter. It is so sad her daughter was so hateful. Her husband is a wimp and I have no respect for him! Thank you for an interesting case, great characters. Superb! |
stareagle 3/31/12 . chapter 1What a truly terrifying scenerio. You did a great job setting the case up and I loved the way Tim and Tony tried to help each other get back to normal ( for them!) I found your story after Gail Craig (Fanfiction Follies) recommended it. I am so glad she did because I may not have seen it otherwise. |
moms5thchild 3/19/12 . chapter 10Truly good stories get reviews. I read this is one sitting, smiled at the phrase 'troublemint twins' and cried when the story ended. I felt just what you wanted me to and this is what a good story should do. Well done. Mom |
abfirechick 3/2/12 . chapter 10I thoroughly enjoyed the entire thing! I figured I would do the review at the end since I couldn't stop reading these chapters once I got started again! You did great with the characters and staying true to them and how they react with each other and with Oonagh what a fantastic character! |
sarahsrr 3/1/12 . chapter 5Great chapter most definitely! Liked Gibbs talking to Chegwidden. And realizing the initial investigation was not done well. Maybe a cover up. And a recovering McGee agrees and definitely fraud going on. But Tony and Ziva learned more at the arifield and recovered a lot of papers. So they go to Oonagh and she panicks and says she bunrt those. So she is in on it and thats why Tony is angry. Great ! Sarah |
Watcom 2/29/12 . chapter 10There are no words. That was wonderful. In character and heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing. X |
TheNaggingCube 2/27/12 . chapter 10Stupid blurry monitor made reading these last two spectacular chapters very hard. Lovely lovely ending to a great adventure. *SNIFF* Agreed not much hope for that marriage. Shame though. Hope the little girl understand the beauty of family and heritage. Sorry so late reviewing, was out of town and not able to read until tonight. |
sarahsrr 2/27/12 . chapter 4So Gibbs, Abby and Ziva were working on the case at NCIS while Tony and McGee were talking with Oonagh and learning more about her and the case. Quite a history and so much info she has. She really had them captivated while learning so much. And time to give her justice! Loved the story so much! Great job! Sarah |
Mezzo Beev 2/26/12 . chapter 10Once again you’ve created a wonderful case story that show our heroes doing what they do best with good teamwork and lots of style. I really do enjoy how you have Tony and Tim interacting. I liked the pre-story and how you let our heroes be humanly shaken by the close call. I like that Gibbs was perceptive and caring enough to take the team off rotation so they had a little recovery time – though McGee sort of thwarted that by finding an intriguing case. And I like that Tony and Tim can talk about the experience. I really like your version of the boys. And all that’s just the first chapter. I enjoy your well-rounded original characters that the team gets to help and that your bad guys are always solid and credible. It was nice to see Ziva embrace the research side of the job with grace. I was a little surprised that Oonagh left Tony her estate rather than establishing a trust herself with Isobel as heir and Tony and Tim as trustees until she was of age. Of course the way you wrote it made it much more of a stab at Naomi, which was kind of nice. I am curious about how the fallout from the theft of the patents is resolved, given that Flyright was built on those patents and it’s now proven that Charlesworth orchestrated the real owner’s murder so he could steal them. But I guess that would require picking the brain of an attorney with a good understanding of U.S. patent and property law. It would be kind of cool if the struggling widow wound up owning the company and wealthy Charlesworth was left broke as well as in prison. I’m glad you included the scenes with Naomi. I guess since you managed to leave the boys unscathed, except in recall/flashback, it was inevitable that she would slug Tony. I hope James gets custody of Izzy when they divorce. I think he could make a pretty good case against Naomi – abandoning her parents to poverty; trying to seize Oonagh’s estate for herself, regardless of Oonagh’s wishes; unprovoked violent attacks on people – yeah, I can see a judge deciding that she would be too focused on looking after number 1 to take proper care of a child. |
