Yay! The tale continues. I'm glad to see the new episode of this series and I'm enjoying it so far. And I can definitely agree about he idea of Marty refusing a gun. He ended up facing "Mad-dog" Tannen without one, so I have no problem accepting the idea that he would say no now. Keep it up and I hope to see more soon.

I think that Marty should have taken it just to kinda show that the Doctor should fight for what he cares for kinda like how he almost did before he changed. Besides it should just be a precaution so your reasoning is fickle at best.

Besides Marty wouldn't have to use it to kill just to provide cover or to aim at stuff to knock people out or non kill shots

Marty turning down the gun does fit with his character arc in the trilogy, as well as in these fics, since he's relying on the Doctor's plan. By the way, I love your prose: "As famous last words go, that wasn't a bad entry," "the lights started having epileptic seizures." Though I admit I don't quite understand "Would they have an identical fate to Jennifer?"

Knowing just as much about John as Marty does, I'm on the edge of my seat. You know how to write a good cliffhanger, Doctor McFly! (And many other good things, on that note.) Keep the updates coming, please!

Glad to see more of this great series! I think you're doing a good job with John; as a non-watcher of Torchwood I've seen maybe a few clips of the man, and now I understand who he is. The conversation wasn't confusing, never fear.
