Sweet story of what might have been. Liked how you put emphasis on Monk as being the one who must change with the final scene echoing the Birthday episode in Season 8 when he gives Natalie a piece of his cake as symbolic of his beginning to reach out.

excellent, the only little issue i take with this is when you're confessing your love you should call the guy his first name, other then that, great, is this a one shot thing or...cause it says the end?

Very sweet! I'm not a big "Monk" fan but I really like the story - so nice to see him being able to reach out and start to accept love again!

If only that episode had really finished like that. A great story and well written.
